The Squeeze
With the acquisition of a competitive company, one Shotmizer customer also acquired an expensive line of liquid, unit-dose filling machines. Knowing our engineering capabilities, they charged us with the task of taking cost out of the vials originally designed for the machines.
The Result
Taking the vial back to the drawing board, Shotmizer reverse engineered it and gave it a thinner wall for easier squeezability. We then built a new mold and began producing this Shotmizer unit-dose alternative that is compatible with the customer’s recently acquired machines, and yet, costs 40% less.
